Assignments
This course includes 4 units of study, each with a self-check, exercises, projects, and a unit quiz. There is a final exam that will be taken at the end of the course.
Self-check
Self-check questions will test your retention and help you review lesson information. These questions don't count toward your final grade but will help you prepare for the quizzes and final exam.
Unit quizzes
Each unit will have a computer-graded quiz at the end of it. These quizzes are designed to see how well you can recall what you have learned throughout the course.
Exercises
Exercise assignments are used to help practice the knowledge and skills you learned about in the lesson. There are about 6 exercises in the course.
Sketchbook assignments
The sketchbook assignments for this course act as artistic studies that help you practice for upcoming projects. There will be one or two sketchbooks for each lesson in the course.
Projects
In units 1 through 4, you are required to complete various art projects. Each project is based on techniques and concepts that were taught in the unit. It is very important that you complete the required art projects for a particular unit before you proceed to the next unit. You'll need to keep your projects in a safe place while you are working on them and before you turn them in.
You will complete each project as instructed in the assignment pages and turn them in according to the course policies you have been given.
Final exam
The final exam will cover the same material found on your self-checks and unit quizzes. Studying the course material and self-checks will prepare you adequately for the final exam.
