The basic topics include mental and emotional health, nutrition and exercise, obtaining valid health information, developing healthy relationships, personal health and disease prevention, human growth and development, sexual health, safety against danger, and alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
This course uses the Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes (KSA) model to give students the opportunity to develop both real-world 21st Century Skills and Social and Emotional Learning Soft Skills to develop college and career readiness.
