They will participate in in-depth discussions on the Constitution of the United States of America, the Revolutionary War, the French Revolution, and an examination of the Thirteen Colonies. This is the second course in a two-part World History series for grades seven and eight; however, either course may be taken independently of the other.

Course Details

  • There are no prerequisites for this course. All of the necessary information will be found within the course.

  • Unit 1: England's Thirteen Colonies
    Unit 2: Rise of Monarchs in Europe (1500-1789)
    Unit 3: The Science Revolution, the Enlightenment, and the Industrial Revolution
    Unit 4: America’s Revolutionary War
    Unit 5: The Constitution of the United States of America

    • All of the information you need for this course is found within each of the five main units. There are five portfolio activities that will require you to do more than just read. You will have to gather additional materials such as renting a video. However, there are no additional requirements for this course.
